Turntable for daughter.

My daughter has expressed an interest in using my old turntable, but I've no phono stage or pre-amp. Is there any free (or cheap) way around this?

Maplin sell a reasonably priced phono stage preamp for MM. Probably Richer Sounds too. You could also contact Munster Sounds in Cork, they may have something, I know that they sell TTs for DJs and have pre-owned DJ and Hi-Fi equipment - maybe worth a try!

Cheers. It occured to me that I could probably pick up an old Arcam or Rotel amp with a phono stage for small money too.
