Bought about one year ago from Noel Cloney it is, as you can see, in excellent condition and it is in full working order. All of the technical details are here with a review here in case that you are not familiar with this amplifier. Anyone who has heard it has, I think, been genuinely impressed with the sound.

It was a demo model and is the remote control version. Before I bought it Noel completely re-valved it and also did an internal soldering job to fix a small problem with the volume control wiring; other than that it has had no other modifications carried out to it. There is no accompanying box or manual.

I am looking for €1200 for it.

If anyone is genuinely interested and lives within a reasonable distance of Blackrock in Dublin I will gladly bring it to your home to hear it in your own system.

If there are any other questions please let me know.

The Jadis DA5 power amp using my Audio Analogue integrated as a pre. The combination works well I think. I honestly would have kept the Shine but it has no pre out, coupled with the fact that I have two integrated amplifiers.

I bet it sounds wonderful Fergus. I had my eye on that amp when it showed up in Cloney's recently but doing a bit of research I'm not sure it can drive my speaker bass units and I dont wanna loose the ability to play a 32' bombrade organ sound. :-))

Good luck with the sale of the Synthesis amp.

I bought the DA5 Power amp. privately Dave; I think that you may be thinking of the DA50 integrated which I also saw in Cloneys....a beautiful piece of equipment too.

Must admit I'd love a Jadis power amp, second only to Airtight. I'll have to stick with my own Shine for now, though. When's the recession ending again?

I had a Shine amp for a while. Beautiful !
Used it with the little SA 1530 speakers and it was a sweet system indeed. Miss it sometimes as it seems to suit most types of music more than my current yoke.

It packs a reasonable punch so speaker choices shouldn't be too limited.

Fergus that's an excellent price too. Good luck with the sale.
