Hi,

I am selling the following on behalf of a good friend. All are based in Ireland, but have boxes for everything I believe so can be shipped easily at cost. Pics added.

SME 20/2 Turntable with SME 5 Gold Arm
Less than 2 years old, having purchased August 2009. In mint condition with very light use. Original box with all tools and other bits you get with it. Really in as new condition for £5500.00 ono. May split arm from TT if TT goes first.

Linn Isobariks
Very late model in Black with external crossovers. Complete with stands (very heavy) and covers (never used but crushed in places). Again, really mint condition. They have been modified with Russ Andrews cabling giving them a less edgy sound, but still very detailed all the same. They have also been dampened I believe. All the boxes are available so can ship, but collection preferred due to weight. Price £800.

Linn Linto
This is a 25th anniversary model. I have it in use here at the moment and its in excellent condition. Don't have the original box, but can be shipped in something suitable. SOLD.

There maybe other bits available too as he is having a good clear out.

Pictures -

Linn Isobariks - (just a note on these. The covers are not as good as originally thought. They are crushed in one of the corners. Although, if this is an issue, they can be replaced with a Pure Sound pair.) Otherwise condition is excellent, much better than a pair current at around £300 more on ebay!!!

pm replied to.

Forgot to mention as well that the SME TT comes with a Hovland MG2 phono lead, in place of the standard rotten SME one. Which is nice!!

To Modest,

Actually PM may have not have worked, it appears to be stuck in my outbox.

Anyway, price was quoted in £ GBP's, apologies for that, so it would be 500 euro. However, he would like to meet you half way at 475 euro if that's acceptable?

Perhaps you can PM me your telephone number or email address and I can get in touch and chat to you further about it?

thanks,

Jon

There is a light scratch running from front to back on this picture. It is a very faint scratch though, and is not really noticeable in normal light

Nice bit of kit he is selling - there are lovely videos on youtube from a factory visit to SME. Might be worth a look if anyone is interested in the TT.

first part here:

Anyway, good luck with the sale. Nice rack he has too!

Thanks Fran.

Yes, some nice kit, especially the SME. The video looks interesting, will watch in full later.

The shelves were made by himself, although not entirely of his own design as you may have guessed.

Linn Linto now sold by the way.

thanks.

SME still going begging. Would rather sell as TT only, but would look at deals with the arm as well.

Thanks for looking.
