Beautiful speakers, very high WAF! but it's best to give an expected price Pat.

Hi,
I am considering a bit of an upgrade over the coming weeks,
Currently running Rotel A11 tribute > B&W 606 s2 anniversary speakers.
Have been looking at these with a while.
But getting differing feedback on them. How would you describe what you hear from them?
Some say they are a bit laid back. I would be looking at something more punchy if that makes sense?
Thanks

Hi, being a 3 way design you’ll get a fuller range with the Lintons compared to the b&ws, the bass is impressive on them and they have a large soundstage, I found them just to be too big in my room which is only 11’ wide. I think with the volume up a bit they aren’t laid back but an involving and engaging listen, bear in mind too that apparently they do benefit from a break-in period, these were only bought in Richer Sounds Christmas gone so practically new, the buyer’s wife wasn’t keen on them so he had to move them on.
