Hi there,
I am looking for the capacitor in the subject. It should be Class X2, 10nF, 275Volt AC. There is one on hanzehifi.nl shop for 4 euros, but the shipping would cost me 25 euros.
Do you have any shop in Dublin to suggest me where I could find it?
Thank you

I thought I might have had one but when I went looking I couldn't find one.
Farnell or radionics will have them....

Thanks Fran,
Looking on google I thought Radionics could be a good one to try. Thanks for confirming that.

Radionics have a set low delivery charge - I think its about 10e or so. It might be free to pick it up from their warehouse in Rialto. Farnell do a handling charge of 9e but if you buy over either 30e or 50e worth of materials its free shipping.

Also meant to say - those caps would be very common in things like switch mode power supplies etc - if you have some scrap computer power supplies etc you might be able to recycle one.

In the end I found the capacitor at Farnell. Substitution done, and now the TD124 is running (and stopping) again.
Thanks for your help

Great result! It always amazes me how such a small part can cause such s big problem... it shouldn't but it does!
