ESL 57's-Gone to a good home !

I am selling a pair of Quad ESL 57's
I now see these as a folly. Can't get the time or inclination now to bring these up to scratch.
And if I did I realise that they'll never get concensus approval at home.
So rather than leave them lying around at my office I've decided to see if any Forum member wants to take them on.
To be honest I've switched them on only once. They work. I don't know enough about them to know how well they work or what may be needed to get the best from them.
They are in reasonable cosmetic condition, woodwork needs attention and a slight dint in one grill.
Black grills.
Hardwood cheeks.
Repaired feet/legs.
Old power leads.
ORIGINAL MANUAL !
To date they have cost me €250.00ish.
So I would let them go for €250.00 [just want to get my costs back]
Sold as seen as I really can't comment on how right they are. Happy to set them up at my place for demo for seriously interested person.
I would need to get them home et., etc. ...
Is that a fair price ?
Thanks,
Gerry
P.S. I would consider a swap for a very good set of RCA - RCA interconnects of .6 metre or longer.
Or, I'm also on the look out for a complete tone arm for my DIY turn table project which has been resurrected recently.
