The craftsmanship here is something else. The video is 35 mins long but worth the watch when you have time. I cant get over the effort he puts into the finishing and polishing of the final product.

I'm disappointed Dave, I was sure this would be a video diary of your Covid lockdown project.

Knowing zero about woodwork I was very impressed! Great product and attention to detail , and the Ladies were very obliging.

Dude, I'm meant to be working here, not watching 35 minute videos of TT porn!
I really enjoyed that until right at the end: speakers with about 3 feet between them...

Indeed, that TT deserved a much better setup and room.

I didn't actually get to the end as I'm in a hospital ward and they already think I'm pretty weird. I'm not, they are!
Broke ankle on Saturday morning so will be hi-fi less for a few weeks while confined to open ground floor.

Ah Jaysus Ivor! Dare I ask how you did it?
(I broke my ankle a few years back and one wag asked "What happened? Did you get run over by a dessert trolley?" I won't taunt you with the same as long as restaurants remain closed.)

I doubt you'd be ever passed by a dessert trolly or a wine waiter.
No, as always its the simplest thing... just walking out my hall door. Right ankle went under me and the rest followed. I was sure (unfounded optimism) that it was just a sprain and I'd walk it off in a day or two.
My family rallied around and ignored me. Ambulance arrived just after the magnificent Leinster win. 6 hours later I was plastered (don't bother) and then x rayed again and told I'd need surgery as the cosultant had just bought a new car.
Everything happens very slowly in Vincent's but it does happen. Its going to be awkward and awkward for 6 or 7 weeks so... come and sing to my ground floor window
