BTW how are you getting on with your other 'little' box?
Edit: This is true. Just before I read the above link I was in the middle of reorganising my album wall art. I replaced two of the Lp covers. One of them is by a guy called Francísco Lopez. I kid you not!

Kinda reads like a preamp without vol control made with an op amp chip and class a buffer

Not great, I had it for a few days and then fell to the dreaded annual visit of diverticulitis, a condition I'm sure is known to more than a few other fine men here. Just today I'm getting a few hours listening but the oul' faculties aren't too short so it's really just sittin' and listenin'. I won't even risk putting vinyl on! Anyway after two plus weeks lost I should be back in the comfy chair from now on and with renewed energy I'll do a "proper" old-school TirNaFiHi review.

Ah sorry to hear about that! Get well soon Ivor. Looking forward to the old-school review. God knows we need something to brighten up our days :).....
