Unfortunately Emma got in the way but yesterday (2nd March) would have been Rory's 70th.
Enjoy:

1987, first time I saw him live and was blown away by him

Love Rory. A friend of mine (very talented photographer and printer) took some great images of him. He posted this today...

I would have been at those gigs too.... every single one of them! An annual pilgrimage.

I went to see anybody ''who was anybody'' in the National Stadium. I remember once seeing Gordon Lightfoot there and he played along with a bass player and an acoustic guitarist. The stage was in the centre (like it is for boxing matches) and halfway through they switched around so that the same people wouldn't be just seeing them from behind. Imagine that happening today, ha!

On one occasion I went to see Van Morrison and all we saw for the whole night, was the bass player's arm!

Same here, if I could afford a ticket out my pocket money I went. Saw Sonny Terry & Brownie McGee, Flying Burrito Brothers and many more I hadn't heard of before!
