Let him scratch his own vinyl itch Tony. My uncle gave me a Thorens TD160 with SME series 3 arm in the early 80s and I dread to think how much I've spent on that never ending journey ever since! I can't imagine having to fund it for my son as well! (-:

Thanks will give you a shout tomorrow. Will do no intention of supporting that fad. I sold all my albums and lo and behold he is now trying to acquire a variety of the same albums! Was shocked to see the asking prices in shops I sold most of mind for circa €3.
