Second Hand vinyl - recommended source

I joined a group on facebook some time ago and only recently noticed some serious vinyl bargains flying around. The sellers are on Vintage vinyl Group which is a closed group on Facebook but obviously if you ask to join you're in.

I just picked up some great oddities, A Tom T Hall LP, 2 Peggy Lee albums, Gertrude Lawrence (1930s recordings - think Noel Coward and Gershwin), a 60s Rap Price album and a Gene Pitney & Melba Montgomery LP. Total cost? €25. The Gene Pitney was actually free because it had a noticeable scratch on track one side 2. So €5 each and they are all in great condition.

I've just ordered some jazz LPs, Basie, Ellington, Lena Horne, Tony Bennett, Hoagy, Sarah Vaughan. Plus... + 3 blues compilations and a Big Mama Thornton double album. All at €5 apart from two at €10. jasus I just bought an early Wilko Johnson LP too! :)

They seem to have a decent selection of blues, jazz and rack etc and a small selection of classical.
anyway... my contact is Jimmy Walker who lives in Rathangan Kildare, a sound bloke and obviously not greedy. A vinyl victim himself indeed! He works in Dublin, not too far from me, so P&P is avoided.

I'm very slow to ever personally recommend sellers of anything but these guys are sound, their vinyl so far is excellent and it does us all good to support them...

I believe they're on Adverts and Ebay too but best prices are through Facebook
