For sale: Harbeth SHL5. Premium Eucalyptus finish.

Price €2100

If you have an inkling of what these are, you'll know these are speakers hand-built in the BBC tradition renowned for exquisite mid-range and being faithful to source material. This model has since been superseded, however you'll find plenty who prefer this iteration.

Pictures testify as to exquisiteness of grain, boxes and certs included. I am the second owner of these. There is some slight marking on these, pictures attached detail this (one rear corner has a mark, one the grilles clothes has a minor tear but this can't be seen once in place, and there is a light mark on one of the grille cavities). I'd rate these at 9/10 condition.

I'll also include custom-made Atacama stands with these, which cost me €300 (not pictured).

Strictly collection only. Auditions welcome, of course - my set-up is modest and relatively bare so you can bring your own gear.

Selling as I'm on the move yet again (thanks Dublin!). I've tried to incorporate these into various living spaces now, but they need and deserve space and I'm going small bookshelf. Based In Sandyford.

I've had them in rooms large and small - they performed admirably in all given good positioning. This is the key really, rather than the size of the room, ie you may have a smallish room but if you the freedom to move them around in that space you can make them work easily. They like some free space around them, ideally, or there is a possibility of too much bass energy. My dilemma with them is real estate - they are quite large and impractical for me currently renting.
