Theirs is selling for $400.00.
I wonder if it is made by the folks in Canada who made the (now discontinued) USB PCIe card?
And to think we would have thought these devices would have gone down in price.
I won't be finding out if there is any difference between them.
Anyone know anything that is "special" about either one?

Its just a repackaged Intona Rick, if its the new JCat USB Isolator you are referring to.
Same internal card in a much nicer box.
I am interested to see what the new PCI USB card will come with though.
Cheers, Pearse.

Since I am out of the game I did not look any further. Thanks for the information. I am still curious about what is going on in the land of Sisyphus!!!
I know Marcin said they were working on a new card many months ago - when I saw this I wondered if they might have figured this box was all that is needed?
Very different shape from the INTONA - seems much slimmer.

Looks like the industrial connectors also so not too bad a price from Marcin and Josef on this one. The Intona case is a terrible cheap thing. I expect the price of these things will come down in the next while. Jplay certainly put it in a nice case.

Well, If I had looked I would see they identify it as the INTONA board. No mystery here! I was hoping for something more interesting ...

Here is a nice review on the Intona

Here is something new, maybe more interesting in that it uses a separate PS and is cheaper.. but I thought that USB data required re-clocking after isolation ?
