Now sold and on its way to a good home in Holland. Thanks Dick.

Doing a little consolidation and clear out of some equipment I have accumulated.

EAR 859 Tube Amp - excellent condition. €1300
This amp was serviced by EAR in the UK in mid 2015. I have the service documentation for that.

Same model as this image. Just posting on the forum site for now.

dear Sir,

Any parts replaced during the service in 2015?

What age is the amplifier?

In what condition in a scale from 1 to 10 . 10 being immaculate?

What is your lowest price ?

When was the last valve exchange?

With regard,

Dick van Oosten

Hi Dick
I am the second owner of the amp so I don't know the exact age of it. I would think it is about 16 years old, in that region.

EAR serviced the amp and fixed a minor problem with one of the control dials, replacing an internal piece. They did a full check of the system. The valves were all good so nothing needed to be replaced.

I would say the condition is about a 9. There are no external marks or damage to to it. Excellent condition.

I would take 1,100 euro for it now, on this forum. It is incredibly well built and sounds superb.
