Arcam amp repair

Anyone recommend someone to do repairs to an amp in the west of Ireland. Just got my CD player back from Clooney, New transport. And need some work on the amp as well. The volume control has stopped working, assuming it's a relatively straight forward job, but don't want to head back to Dublin with it? I can easily live with it, the remote still works it.

Frankly, unless you can get it repaired with 100% confidence, I'd just continue use the remote.

Just connected the CD player back up. Powered up, hit the open button and it.......... Opened!
Have music back in the apartment, happy days.
Not to get through the purchasing back log, top of the pile was sleater Kinneys 'no cities to love'

Chances are that the motorised volume unit in the amp is somehow broken. Usually looks something like the one in the link below, but might be proprietary or mounted on a circuit board. Either way, if the amp is a high end one, then it might be worth fixing, otherwise, use the remote...
