Since I'm gonna build my PC box and I don't want to use a fan for CPU cooling, I wonder what the rest of CA is using for that mater?

Adam I think Nigel has had a few beers! He aint bothering with a fan because it is underclocked.
Ken does the same. I bought one of these for my Big7 PC fit out. Sure if it is not needed it don't matter as it will look nicer than Nigels nonfan.

Looks like I also need a beer.......maybe than I will understand what you just said! :)
Do you mean to under-clock the CPU and just use the provided cooler, but not connect the power to the fan?
If that would be enough, I'm thinking to build something else to be able to still use the brass.

Thanks Tony, I just had no idea how much will the under clocked cpu be heating.
Look like not much.
I have some brass and cooper pipes, I might make one Frankenstein CPU cooler! :)

It has enough but I don't think they are connected well enough to dissipate the heat. Put a shroud of brass over the lot and it hopefully
will stop the cpu overheating. But it could be touch and go

I use a low speed fan blowing against my BIG block of brass.
I like in Atlanta, Georgia and had no problems over the summer.
I run the CPU at 800 mHz and wonder why anyone would do anything else for an audio computer?
No question, with the motherboard allowed to pick the speed of the CPU my block of brass would get pretty warm but the sound was so badly altered you wanted to turn it off before any damage could be realized.
Just use a good low speed fan.
