Music via USB
Music via USB
My computer outputs its analogue music signal [foobar to old amplifier/speakers] via the line output socket. I have a DAC with a USB connection that I want to try out from the computer. How do I redirect the music [digitally] to the USB sockets? Computer running Windows 10. Thanks.
It's OK, if there is no bread I will eat cake.

Hi Tom,
Connect Dac outputs to Amp.
Install the Windows driver for your Dac (what Dac is it?).
Connect Dac to PC with USB cable, you should be able to see it in Control Panel/Device Manager/Sound Video Games Controllers.
In Foobar go to File/Preferences/Playback/Output and select your Dac.
Bingo.
