Appeal for parts.....

Guys,
I mentor at a local coding club for kids - some of you may have heard of it:
http://coderdojo.com
http://coolestprojects.org/
anyway, I plan on teaching the kids how to put together a PC from scratch in the when we start back in a few weeks time. Sooo, here comes the ask. ..... I'm looking for donations of working parts suitable for building a low end PC. Things like chassis, HDDs, mobos, PSUs, CPUs and ram. The gotcha is that I need to be able to make up probably 2 PCs from bits that fit together, so the parts must be compatible.
Would anyone have some older gear, stuff that you are throwing out or never going to use anyway that you would be willing to donate? It can be pretty low spec, I will be just loading ubuntu or similar to the PCs to let them get the feel of building one from scratch. Think of 40-80gb HDD, 1gb ram, rpocessors from that era.
Think of it this way, you'll have these young nerds in a few years to sort out problems for us!!!
