Celestion Ditton 44 Vintage Speakers - Matched Pair.
These are STUNNING speakers. The crossovers been completely recapped, new wiring fitting, new binding posts retro fitted to existing post cap to rear. When i bought these, they were an unmatched pair, different coloured veneers and slightyl different caps in the crossovers. Now they are a completely matched pair. I have given them a beautiful dark walnut varnish finish.
I electrically sanded them down to remove all scratches, and prepared them to varnish. Ronseal Dark Walnut (several coats applied over a number of days to get the deep, dark walnut finish).
They look amazing now, and simply sound stunning. The low end on these is superb, and the sound in general is incredibly detailed and transparent You will not see (or hear) a better pair of 44's. A HUGE amount of work has gone into these. I will be designing metal stands for these also. Listing to show them off really(:
