Audiophile grade USA transformer

Post by willsandbills »

Here is a massive very high quality 2000 watt step down transformer from Irish voltage to USA voltage. You can select your local voltage 220, 230 or even 240 volt input.

It made in the UK by Boardman who are one serious Transformer manufacturer, this is no domestic transformer , this is as good as it gets.

have a look here http://www.boardman-transformers.co.uk/about-us

I put it in a box and added two medical grade USA sockets, I also wired it with some Nordost cable between transformer and USA socket.

It is not silent, it does have a buzz, however in my last house I housed it for a few years in a place where that was not a problem, now its suplus to my needs. I bought it in the UK for I think several hundred pounds, It weighs about 20 KGs and could be in the 400 pounds price realm now. Anyway I want 125 euro for it now.,, happy to send pics.
