Hi folks,
I'm looking for a reasonably priced phono stage for my MM turntable, nothing extravagant thanks. I'm sure there's something tucked away in a closet/cupboard/attic collecting dust that needs a new home.
Thanking you (in advance)

Try the MM circuit on that pre-amp ....
with the volume turned way down! (feedback/distortion/devils screaming) As I said I never got it to work properly but I suspect there's very little wrong with it.

a very short lived renaissance, as you so rightly predicted much humming and other very frightening noises at very low volume (1st stop on dial). Needed trying though. i'm still looking......

I have a NAD PP2 phono preamp which I could part with.
Maybe, PM me if you are interested.

I've just replaced a Rega FONO with a Naim Stageline.
As I got the FONO from a Naim forumite for free it seems churlish not to pass it on for free.
PM me if interested.
