Wanted: CDs of The Great Composers [Marshall Cavendish]

Post by Rocker »

A long shot I know, but has anyone got any of the The Great Composers series CDs, published by Marshall Cavendish Ltd in 1997 and if you have some/all, would you be willing to sell it/them to me?

I got the disks I have in charity shops. They likely came with a booklet explaining the music on the CD and some info on the composer. I have none of these booklets either.

If you see any of the CDs and/or booklets in charity shops/car boot sales etc., please buy it/them for me and I will reimburse you a.s.a.p.

Thanks.
It's OK, if there is no bread I will eat cake.

I can understand why you are going after them Tom. I cut my classical teeth on that very set with the original cassette tape version some decades ago. It was an excellently produced series with really god recordings of top class orchestras and conductors. The tape set is now gone but I have actually replaced the set with the vinyl version! I will keep an eye out and if I see any I will let you know. Best of luck with your search.

Hi Tom,

I have just discovered this on eBay:
4 x The Great Composers And Their Music Volumes 1 - 4

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-x-The-Great ... 0794462341

Good - Usual signs of a well read book but good overall condition. May not be suitable as a present.
Best wishes with your search. If you want any recomendations or information on any composer please do not hesitate to ask.
