Based on a silverstone ec01-P
chosen for quality and simplicity
base card
http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=327
DRIVER
http://www.silverstonetek.com/downloads ... _30230.rar
this card allows for external power from lifepo4 for usb card chipset and clock it has also has got a clock upgrade
it also allows for an external 5v to be added to the usb output or dac
the usb card is isolated from pcie (pc) power so it relies on external 3.3v supply to function
so if the usb card and dac is going to be supplied with lifepo4 this card will allow for a serious lift in sq
build notes:
right theres 3 pins on this pcie slot that need to be covered/taped up,
believe it or not theres still noise on my pc apparently as it wasn't enough to power the new clock with a lifepo4 (which did provide the vast majority of the sq lift) but there was extra benefit of powering the usb chip from the lifepo4 too,

Unusual looking card Nige, does it require 12v and 5v to work?
More important how does it sound?

strangely doesn't sound identical to my last one but not worse, and these clks need a bit of burn in
so ive it burning in atm
so it might be even better because of the anti-vibration super audiophile grade glue :)
no it requires only 3.3v but if the dac requires 5v a clean 5v can be injected

You really need to get better glue than that! See link below great stuff every Zuma should have this stuff.
Much better than Adam's blue war paint

Tony, now you disappointed me! After all this "anti-vibration lectures" you offer soundproof glue!
Nige, you better be used the anti-vibration glue!!!
How are we gonna name it?
