How much are CDs in shops these days?

It's a long time since I've bought a CD in a shop. It's an even longer time since I bought a newly-released CD in a shop, but the new Aphex Twin album is released today and I want it. I can order it for €9.99 online, but can anyone persuade me to go to a real shop instead?

Hard to know exactly but unlikely to be 9.99 - maybe 12.99 or thereabouts. That said I will happily pay a little extra to buy from a bricks and mortar shop or pretty soon they won't be there. I buy online only if it can't be got locally.

€12.99 is ok. I find it funny when I look through my collection and see £16.99 etc. from 20 years ago. Now everyone I know (outside of here!) thinks I'm mad to pay anything at all.

I have to say, I feel no real compunction to support B&M shops, or at the very least not enough to go much out of pocket for them. But that's another thread for another day.
