The mere mention of an Airtight ATM2 sends a shiver down my spine. :-)
Would love to get my hands on the 211 monos though!

Thanks Dermot...
To be honest I think this thread should be moved to the classifieds section... something I missed up on with the first post.
I'll post up more swag as it comes due, lots and lots of nice stuff out there.
Those Castle Harlechs are now at 200 stg.. obviously somebody wants them.

I think that add for the Amati Futura's seems to have been pulled from eBay now, for whatever reason (I guess if it looks too good to be true, then probably is too good to be true...)
On that point, just wondering has anybody on the forum actually ever bought high end stuff from eBay? I can certainly see people taking a punt for a few hundred quid but how do people feel about actually going for something which is in the region of 5 figures?
From my view I think perhaps it's one thing to buy or sell a very high value item on a forum such as this (or the Wam) where maybe a lot of forum members personally know each other, or at least can vouch on someone's behalf. Perhaps quite different in the world of eBay... Just my thoughts - but curious to hear the experiences of others...

Was dubious of that ad from the start. The account was established for years but no real recent activity.
£800 for postage! The notion of putting something like that up for bids with no minimum price.
I think you have answered your own question Steve, I would be very doubtful anybody
here would be bidding on that type of kit. Ken had one recently on speakers where the price was too good
to be true and asking the pertinent questions gave him the answer he feared.
Bought my amp from a shop in Belgium. I could google the street it was located in and the guy was very genuine.
That is as risky as I have been. Having said that bought various bits on the wam/pfm and no issues so far.
