Wall shelf for turntable

Hi all,

I'm in the market for a wall mounted turntable shelf. I'm taken by the look of the Quadraspire Bamboo bracket and shelf, see image at -Image

Does anyone know the unit or have some experience to share? I'd like to avoid the black, welded steel, panzer look.

My spinner is a Linn LP12 with Ittok/Audio-Technica AT OC9/III.

Thanks in advance.

Terry

The Podium Platform is a basic but good solid unit; see link below. I think that Noel Cloney is the agent for Hi Fi Racks here in case you are interested.

as a suggestion......how about a piece of spalted beech + a couple of your favourite wall brackets from anywhere.ie ?

From wiki... "Spalting is any form of wood coloration caused by fungi. Although primarily found in dead trees, spalting can also occur under stressed tree conditions or even in living trees. Although spalting can cause weight loss and strength loss in the wood, the unique coloration and patterns of spalted wood are sought after by woodworkers.[1]"

Would welcome any amount of weight loss but am concerned about that "unique coloration" and what those fungi might do to my lovely afro plinth.

Thanks all the same MT.

The fungi that cause spalting are only active in "living" ie wet fresh timber - so your aformosia /walnut /mahogany plinths are 100% safe.

A home made rack Terry - metal frame with glass shelves.

Ceraballs under the deck itself.

Wouldn't put it past you Fran. Is all that on the floor or wall? I have very lovely (but bouncy) Victorian floorboards, so have to go into/on to (not so straight or solid) walls. LP12 is perfectly set up but is uber sensitive.

May need a few of your whatyamacallits!
