Mozart Requiem - Lucerne Festival Orchestra (Abbado) Blu Ray

Just saw that this is due for release in September. I don't usually buy classical music Bluy-rays but with names like Sara Mingardo and René Pape I just may well be tempted!

Drat! I LOVE Abbado's work with the LFO but I do not have a Blu Ray player, mine is a Red Ray Arcam DV79.

It will also come in a region free DVD Seán to be released on September 2nd.

before long, all the great choral works will be released on Blu-Ray... you can slowly start to see the flood gate opening; something to look forward to, I'd say...
