I put this link up earlier in the week as I was amazed (probably somewhat naively) at how much "processing" went into recorded music, it's probably the polar opposite to the set up above
It seemed to me that maybe we are consuming the aural equivalent of a Findus Lasagne as opposed to a filett steak....
Interestingly Jacknife Lee speaks of using a Fairchild® 670 Compressor plug in near the end of the article
