I can only direct you towards the good folk over on tapeheads.net who know savage amounts relating to tape stuff...

there is a company called taperecorder.co.uk i have a friend who got work done here and was very happy -and it think the name was brian reeves he got other work done with and was very expensive -you are safer going to the proper service man as anyone capable in this country have not the time or the spares
there is an ex rte engineer has got a basement full of studer c37 this is a reel to reel machine similar to a washing machine and also has record players called emt 950 also similar to washing machines he is in dublin and does not take kindly to enthusiasts contacting him

Thanks for that I have used Brian before.He is good .trying to save the hastle of getting it to the UK and back.Re the guy withe the studers great to be friendly ?
