Hate coming to this point as the intention was to hang onto these as I had made a big effort to buy them in the first place and love the qualities but unfortunately my head was turned by esl's and while I toyed with the notion of alternating them with the quads or else use them in a second system logic dictates that I should try and sell them.
Can be demoed with SS or valve or with your own if you want to bring it. I am going to advertise here first before hitting the adverts and wider networks.Looking for €1750. I believe they are circa €2799 new in Cloneys.
These are approx 2 1/2 yrs old unblemished on the front but some marks on one rear cabinet. Really not even fully run in accurately describes the condition as they spent nearly a year boxed during a house move. THere are plenty of good reviews in the mags and online about these speakers.
Come with original boxes, manual and packaging.

Best of luck with the sale Tony. Are you 100% sure you're doing the right thing though? Silly question I know but they are Spendors after all....How do they actually compare to the Quad set up anyway?

Thanks Dermot. Really only trying to sell simply because I have bought too much and should really consolidate a little. I have decided to go with the quads+1sub but intend getting the 2nd and supertweeters. If I hold the spendors it will be for a second system. I already have a pair of avi positrons that will suffice for that hence it makes sense to consider off loading what I consider the most attractive of the pair. If not successful they will be used for the second system and the avi's donated to the kids. Hate even trying to sell them as I made a big effort to get them but I have to be seen to try and offload before I buy anything else!
In relation to the quads totally different sound. Same detail, probably not as warm and the mid range while great can't beat the quad. Spendors go much louder don't need subs or supertweeters but ultimately the quad/sub,supertweeter has a bigger sound stage etc. It should as cost wise it is a lot more expensive to put together than the spendors and also the quads are taking up at least 4 times the space of the spendors add in the subs and it is a totally different system in terms of floor/room requirements to the spendors.
