Hey Guys,
I was wondering what everybody use generally to clean records.
I've been using windows cleaning liquid so far, doesn't seem to damage them :)

I got a record cleaning spray from the music shop on wicklow street. Expensive but works well. I only got it to clean the records I was sellling.
If only I had know a yard brush and the dishwasher would do the same job.

I found this very good on my LP's ,contains no alcohol so no wory damadge your vinyl :)
Buy gallon of distilled water in any pharmacy and mix it together with L'Art du Son and you have 5l of washing liquid.
Very handy to have all the time fresh stuff so i mix 1l distilled and 20/25 mil of L'Art du Son and keep the rest in dark ,cool place...
The price is 30euros for L'Art du Son and 5eu for distilled water and it will last for years if you are using RCM vaquum cleaner :)

Alcohol always helps as it keeps one mellow but there is a sting in the tail after drinking too much

My formula:
75% RO water
25% pure isopropanol (propan-2-ol)
2mL of rinse aid per litre of this mix
I use wet/vac cleaner which cleans up about 90% of records. I suspect that an enzyme based one would do another 5%, and that the last few are beyond cleaning.....
Isopropanol won't damage your records.
