Was browsing in Tower today and strayed into the vinyl section. What is it with Jazz covers I reckon you could use them as wallpaper. It would be worth buying them just to stick on the wall. Lots of good examples in modern times but they really had their act together in the sixties.
I can see how enjoyable the experience can be spinning one of these discs. The CD version just doesn't compare. Having said that I beat a hasty retreat to the price safety of the cd section.

Tony, I agree, a large number of the Jazz album covers are very fine indeed but unfortunately the record shops seem to think that the punter should be ripped off when buying vinyl, which is a real pity.
