Blue Coast Records http://bluecoastrecords.com/ have offered a few DSD downloads for free to promote the format. I thought I'd see if I could get them to work on the JKDAC32. I used HQPlayer which can accept DSF format and will convert to the sample rate of choice. This all worked fine with conversion up to 192khz and the sound quality was good but I couldn't get it to go to 384khz. It did play but sounded like half speed. Has anyone tried playing anything higher than 192khz through the JKDAC32 or Young Dac?

I think radio 2L had some, but I can't be sure now....

However at $50 for the download it'd want to be orgasmic!! and I just can't see that happening.....

As the official jkdac tester Ken you will need to shell out here and let us know how worthwhile it is.
Maybe John might purchase a selection to help flog the dacs? We could be given copies to test and evaluate

Fran,Agreed on the price. I was more curious to see what the JKDAC32 sounded like on 384khz material or would I even notice any difference.
Tony, John can keep his money in his pocket for a while longer.
