I'm sure you all know this already, but just in case it's passed anybody by, I find this site incredibly useful:

Yes, the scanning can be patchy, but you can search waaaaayyy back if you want to. It also means I've stopped keeping Gramophones older than about six months: the contents are in the archive by then and easier to find there!

The scanning is indeed patchy, but I'm starting to get used to its vagaries and even find them charming.

This seems to have been taken down, and replaced with some form of app that requires payment. Shame.

indeed, I got the email from them saying isn't this amazing....

no gramophone, it's not....
Brass Bands are all very well in their place -
outdoors and several miles away....
