Does anybody know anything about this album? It's by two Irish guys, Gerrard Coffey and Jimmy Fitzgerald and was released in the early '80's? (There's no year on the sleeve or album). I heard a part of it on RTE years ago and bought it on the strength of that. It's pretty much world music, the two guys play acoustic guitar and a selection of the great and the good of local session musicians appear on it, (Garvan Gallagher, Earl Gill, Alan Murray), with some arrangements buy Erik Visser. It's on Hologram Records, # HO LP 001. Never heard of them before or after, so I presume that they were set up for this release.
What's driving me crazy is that it's great music and I wonder if the guys are still performing. Various google searches have come up with nothing about the guys or the album.
