One project of his well worth checking out is Kort. A bit more straight country but not overly so (some may not agree!).

Have a look at
http://cityslang.com
There's a mini doc about the new album on there.
Also, got a present of this boxset recently. Nice :-)

Yeah Jadarin,It's a nice set alright-some great titles too e.g. Pet Sounds Sucks,Making Tar and Nashville Does Dallas.
It's basically 8 live CD's that were originally only availably to buy at their live shows plus 2 live DVD's. Some great performances over around 10 years.I had a few of these CD's already but herself thought I deserved all of them in a boxset!! Think it was originally available from City Slang website only.

Oops just a little slow typing you got in just before me tweber.
Thats a very nice present alright.Somebody really likes you. Never seen it either. This has happened on a couple of occasions to me.By the time I figure out these bands are worth going to they either get too big and I miss all the intimate gigs in small venues or just dont do my research in time.

I've seen them in the Opera House in cork a few times which is a very underrated and under utilized venue in my opinion. Even though I'm not sure if they really played when they toured the Sunrise film there. :-)
Kurt and the lads were only visible when they took a bow after the film but I hope they played the music!!
Listening to a live cd from the Nixon era at the minute - cool Curtis Mayfield sounds happening. They really could recreate that sound live too.
Kort worth a listen too - not too country even if it's kind of old style Nashville, if that's not too contradictory
