Nice! Anyone who's heard "Death Magnetic" by Metallica will know just how horrible clipping due to the loudness wars can sound!

whereas GNR's Chinese Democracy was done pretty well and has dynamic range in spades. Not gonna comment on the music itself but that's not what this thread is about. :-)

I went looking to buy Paul Simon's Graceland yesterday, and quickly discovered that the version available now has been "remastered to 2011 standards". Yep, you know where this is going. The reviews say it all:
