Just ordered my new arm (sort of)

Well, I'll have to put it together first... (which could be entertaining)
According to Jeff I'll be looking at mid April before the kit is put together
At £215 for the kit and £32 for a bare cast rb251 arm tube, arm lift and arm rest, it looks pretty [s]good value[/s] Shiney.
I'll be using an Isokinetik rewire kit I bought for my now borked RB300.
When mated with my as yet unused Acryteller 24mm Platter:
And ridiculous Isokinetik subplatter:
I should have one of the most Frankensteined Planar 3's on the island.
I'll see if I can get some pictures of my own with the platter and subplater this evening.
This is getting silly....

Just got this email from Jeff RE the cartridges I'll be using (Grado Reference Platinum/Sumiko Blue Point Special)
Hi DP
it should work nicely with a counterweight of about
115g.
There are several owners with the Grado reference cartridge and it really is
a very good combination.
The Sumiko might work best with a little extra mass at the headshell - I
have a suitable shim. This would also move the counterweight back, raising
the effective mass a little, just what we want for the lower compliance.
