Good stereo recordings ?

Hi All.
i'm used to, at this stage, listening to good sounding recordings and as we all know a well set up hi fi system will quickly show up inferior ones.
But I was listening to the music tracks on the recent Hi Fi Choice/Isotek giveaway CD last night and I was astounded by one track in particular:
11 - Tiny Island - Vaquero.
The sound coming from my Frugal Horn Speakers spread right across the room. Far beyond the loudspeakers. I actually stared in the direction of various sound elements for a while to see if anything was relocated or what had changed. Nothing !
So I surmise that it's just a spectacularly reproduced soundstage and I have my system well set up. width, depth, Height [!] were all present and very correct.
No exaggeration, this was a LARGE soundstage.
Reminded me of the first time I "got" what stereo is or can be. An enjoyable insight into music as it's intended to be heard.
Any suggestions of more 'panoramic' recordings ?
