still use win8pro on laptop. seems people not much prefer win8.1. will try it. only if kernel, ole32,... better than 8.0 then will keep to use, otherwise not benefit, more "metro", more no-need for audio then more bad, hehe...

i think actually better than s5. need understand what is correct sound? i'm learning more CD player sound.

track waits a little, makes "pop", and skips to next track.

weird. has download from google and test, works, did'nt confuse version. review code, all things normal in my case. maybe you re-download file and try again, JC. i'm finding reason in code.

ok...
s8 is super high vibration.
for some vocal, or sound of high density/concentration:
vibration quantity is high. size is norm. not enough room fit all the vibration. tune changes to less good.
for sound of normal density/concentration:
tune is fine.
soundstage sounds right. give me good first impression.
s5 soundstage feels a little unstable. sometimes good. sometimes no
s4 is natural and stable

still think 2.40.1 is better at high density sound. makes shinny effect.
2.75.1 s8 makes high density sound feels like super high vibration. lack shinny effect.

2.71.5 s8 has good free emotion. good diffusion, like s5.
i think the high vibration is good thing. i listen carefully, feels more like my OS is making the problem. i just need more tweaks to make it work.

OK that works for you! hehe... i was think your RAM have issue after tweaks coz it works in my case, hehe...
im using vs2012 and Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 3
think if install win8.1 then will coding with vs2013.

improved vibration, tried keep good tune. try it and test soundstage (maybe sound weight? i see s4, s5, s8 weight a bit more than my CD Player)
