machine warmed up. back to normal. s5 sounds better every min.

2.75.1 s5 all things >99% well-done. nothing is weak! current best?

the sound melts and vanishes. no edges. in between sharp and not sharp. very very good. (maybe sharper is better. not sure)

very interesting version. s5 is right at tipping point of being too mellow. just enough. very good.

very very fine grained vibrations. vanishing! s5 is totally the new best
very 'hifi'. also very very musical.

jitter level is at new low. i am not actually finding jitter. i am actually listening to music. very very very good.

s5 vibration not much improved but other things has become better. intersting result. good in all components.

i builded some versions with very good vibration but soundstage??, and intense imediatelly has come in, hehe... need vibration in all 3 frequency ranges. s5 good in its vibration level.

very nice version. yes. vibration is correct. soundstage automatically correct.

s5 may need sharper. that's it.

learnt a lot from tweaking. make sound strain, or intense, or anything. soundstage automatically goes wrong.

correct sound = correct soundstage.

maybe need balance in vibration

e.g. vibration level:
80% treble
80% mid
80% bass

is better than

80%
100%
80%

etc.

s6 is close to ear. huge sound size. sound everywhere. reminds me of 2.69 s5.
s5 maybe close to ear maybe not.
s4 not close to ear.

s6 better vibration! too zoom-in. lol... i can 'see' everything. i think need more vibration if close to ear. otherwise very raw... hehe
for s6, realtime + timeresolution=0.5ms improves vibration. not anymore blur the sound. i can see the benefit.

I have two RT's. One has been updated to 8.1, the other remains at 8.0. After charging it yesterday, I just checked and it is completely drained, even though it was not used. The 8.0 is only down a quarter, and has been used in the last day. It usually lasts several days without a charge, depending on use.

worse battery life. more metro.
only good thing is newer wasapi?

i tried R2 again. not good. it just needs more tweaks because it has more un-needed things. (NOT SURPRISE. because one has the pay more $$$ for upgrade)

on win8/2012, when computer is bad mood, my setup just blurs the sound. actually sounds richer/more mellow. analog tune kept. stage ok.
on win8.1/R2, when my computer is bad mood, it makes compressed sound. intense. digital tune.

conclusion. 8/2012 makes jitter beautiful.
