These days it´s extremely difficult to cast a Verdi or Wagner opera well, but with so many wonderful baroque specialists, it´s a Handel Golden Age.

I dont often play any of Mozarts symphonies but this recording below is one of the best out there IMHO.

Allan Pettersson may have had the most horrible life of any composer ever. But his symphonies are very fine, especially the 7th and the 8th. Those who love Mahler should investigate.
