No Jared, the only concession to overt hero worship that I indulge in is to have a portrait of JS Bach as my desktop wallpaper on my PC.

Finishing off my Vanhal listening with the final CD of his music in my collection; CD 4 from this set....

I agree Jared in that, although I do not own her playing any Bach and that I prefer Bach played on harpsichord, Hewitt does have some kind of affinity with the music of Bach. I have heard recordings of her playing Bach's music and I think that she is very good with it.
I must say that if it HAS to be Bach on the piano I much prefer András Schiff.

I LOVE Schiff and let's not forget the wonderful Murray Perahia, Perahia's performances on the keyboard concertos are superb.
