i think these 2 shell versions have tune better than v2.72, better vibration in correct soundstage and tune. SQ better. try them and enjoy!

i see both s3 and s4 are good. very good balance, left and right channels give correct balanced sound, tune OK. vocal have correct focus, s4 have better bass focus so its bass better. by headphones i prefer s4, didn't test via speakers, will try.

very good! s3 sounds exactly like s4?! s4 more bass. tune improves a little bit. all things feel good

actually s4 better. soundstage more free flowing.
s3 soundstage a bit control. s3 also 0.01% intense.
s4 maybe 0.0000001% intense. hehe

yes, good tune => less intense. s4 vibration more correct, focus better. but sound texture, brightness, energy and other things need more test and compare with s3. still prefer s4 now, it have good depth, only height seems lesser.

2.40.1 is so good at vocal.

it has true bass layer in treble.

given good tweaks, its treble improves faster than any other software players in terms of rich+airy+transparent.
rich 3D treble. but able to keep transparent! analog richness. definitely not digitally rich.

it has true sweetness because of good bass. intenseless.

texture just enough. stable + good tempo. produce very good vocal.

other versions can be better. i not yet discover.

in fact 2.7x is just as rich. with more stable soundstage + much better bass. best for rock.

still like 2.72 best. its vibration is different. addictive. hehe.

v2.75.1 s4 intense ~zero, very good focus. but its sharpness not good as needed, need a bit more smooth. depth and sound texture also need refference to v2.72, v2.72 have good other things, seem its depth is more correct.

yes i love 2.75 s4 also. most natural and clean and great bass. 2.72 is little dirty.
