i was very busy, JC, haven't time to careful test, especially intense, very difficult detect. v2.75.1 tune not good, depth not enough. now more careful test and builded new version, maybe better than v2.72

uploaded lektshell.exe1644 v2.75.1 256 s2 , use with old lekt.exe1644 v2.75.1 256

try it and test for tune, i feel lesser intense than v2.72. bass vibration better, but bass have good tune or not?

fixed a few jitters in my OS in past few days. 2.72 becomes more natural.
basically, 2.72 seems less forgiving of jitters.

still prefer 2.72.

best tune+non-intense are 2.4.3 and 2.40.1

2 file model have some benefits for SQ but bad affect tune, hard to control tune. i try more few time with this model and will review code of 2.40.1, 2.55. lost code of 2.4.3, only remember first version code very simple.
agree with you, 2.72 have best tune, no intense. totally it's best of lekt.
2.75.1 s2 more vibration but a bit not correct. its tune have issue.

2.4.3 is just good at rock.
resolution not high. but music sounds just right. energy is super high. very natural and real. bass quantity is ok. bass quality is super. best drum.

2.40.1 i use it for vocal. coz non-intense + sweet + airy + transparent. very important for vocal.

2.55 has incorrect treble. i use it less and less. soundstage changes all the time. soundstage is super sensitive to good/bad tweaks. it creates best artificial 3D soundstage if enough bad tweaks is applied. lol...

2.72 is just great.

2.74x and 2.75x main issue is little intense. tune makes ear tired. all things correct.

actually, now that i think about it...
2.4x had best positive tune
2.5x tune changes a little.
2.6x tune changes more.
....

little by little tune changes. not easy to notice between versions

ussualy simple code give correct and good tune. but vibration is limited.
hifi audio defined by vibration, need extra vibration, when all things vibtares in correct soundstage, tune, weight, 3D-dimention,... then true sound will be apear, hifi. i see vibration always break out other good factors, hard to keep them when improve vibration.
more complex method and code can make more vibration, of course soundstage and tune will have more problems, hehe...

i find it very interesting when tuning for balance. changes one things. affects another.

for example, i make some treble more 'airy', other treble becomes strain. overall sound is stretched thinner. not good.
fixed a lot of tweaks. no more strain. sound has balance distribution. automatically richer sound.
very happy

2.72 sounds better everyday.

in piano, i always said treble notes a bit bright and heavy.
after i killed off about 10 more things, saying bye bye to powershell, printing etc....
the brightness is now just acceptable.

every software won't compromise for certain OS jitter. for lekt player, think it is brightness.
for xa, when OS jitter comes, sound becomes too smooth. in fact, all things go a little wrong.
for mqn.... actually am not sure. mqn not useful for detecting OS jitters. mqn makes good piano in all situations.

hehe... cannot delete powershell on win2012... OS will die

ok.. now XA+2012 is about 70-80% as good as it is on win7.
sound is no longer just smooth. has texture like it is on like win7. i get it now! XA turns win2012 jitters in smooth sound! very interesting

i see XA soundstage is good, not intense, sound weight almost correct. only noise, sometime dirty in sound. maybe its GUI makes bad things. graphics components force negative affect SQ.
