v2.72 and v2.73 has refference to soundstage of v2.69 s5 and sound texture, vibration of v2.55. will back to code of v2.55, this version very stable, can play in almost bad time of windows. few last months i didn't make any tweaks for my win8.

2.72/2.73 are beautiful versions. as always they have some small issues. music is very good. issues become insignificant.

height maybe 0.5% less than norm? doesn't matter anymore.
piano notes seem 0.3% stronger(brighter) than norm. doesn't matter either.

2.55 is weird. on my setup. everything is very stable. except for soundstage changes every day.

right, deep night fooled me sometime, electrical good and lesser noise => good sound. bye!

uploaded 2.72 2.73 mods. maybe better

for 2.72, if only mod lektshell.exe, then width reduces, size reduces.
for 2.72, prefer original.
for 2.73, prefer mod.

2.73 soundstage more stable.
2.72 soundstage seems more impressive. height sometimes not enough

v2.72 soundstage more "hifi", hehe... bass have micro vibration, sometime its pressure as wind. need more wind.
wind have raised only when player and speakers can reproduce very low frequency, i think ~ 10Hz or lesser, i have seen some CD Players with 2Hz written in service manual, didn't trust but i think they can produce 10Hz . human ears can not (or difficult) hear it by theory, but can feel it. it is hifi!

tune of 2.72 is better.

2.73.1 (and2.73) soundstage more natural+simple. all things well-done.

2.69 s5's tune makes ears tired after 20mins.
2.73.1's tune probably makes ears tired after 1hour.

2.72 seems better air. height sometimes not enough.
2.73.1 (and 2.73) have correct height. also better vibration in some situations.

2.72 is still my current favorite. it has special resolution i don't know what it is. like you said, it must be reproducing good sound that human cannot hear.

v2.72 sound rises up not much as needed, like as height not enough, but i think height enough. interesting, its vibration very nice.

uploaded lekt.exe1644 v2.72.1 256 (core file, use with old lektshell.exe v2.72), only micro change, sound now rises up, i feel more air, more live. but other things? try it.
