^^ I have been toying with getting a Martinu set Fergus, but have been wondering whether it might be too modern for me... how tonal is his music, and whose works would you compare it to?

I have not listened yet Jared but I too have the same fears in relation to its modernity. I will let you know how I get on with the set.

I have Neumann performing Nos. 5 & 6 which I kind of like. I wanted a complete cycle of his symphonies so I bought this set really on your previous recommendation Seán.
