Earlier, four chorales for Trinity from the Leipzig Chorales of JS Bach....
This one is with thoughts for poor Simon and his continued misfortune with his HiFi hardware.
I have eventually completed listening to the 20 LP set above and I was very enamoured with Rogg's light, easy and free flowing style.

The Bach Chorales were followed by Schubert's Mass No. 6 in Eb maj....
This is a big work and a wonderful work.

There is no denying it Fergus, the packaging on some of those collector's LP box sets was magnificent... lovingly crafted.

That is a particularly lovely set Jared. The box is covered with woven cloth and it also contains a lavishly illustrated 70 book and also, of course, 20LP of JS Bach's organ works all very well played....heaven!!!

I am a fan of Zinman but I was never really convinced by that interpretation; perhaps because it had a different "feel" to most M1s that I own. I would be curious to know what a multiple M1 owner thinks Seán.
