s6 more vibration, but s5 have very interesting vibration, everything vibrates, music sound everywhere in ears, bass have giant size because it expands and much rises up. but i think s6 more "hifi", maybe?
yes s6 is a little more 'hifi'.
for example, s5's drum is true and powerful. s6 cuts a little weight from drum. so better for ears. which is correct?
s6 seems too 'small'. s5 maybe too 'big'. maybe why 'bass have giant size'. try -1% size from s5.
my CPU has about 50% more bass at 4.8Ghz than at 4.0Ghz. but 4.0Ghz is better balance- more listenable.
now shell very improtant for WASAPI render loop, core still have minimal code, most simple, let's core can use more system resource to working with WASAPI's objects in its process. this model seems good, give nice soundstage.
i think s7 version better than s5. try it and enjoy!
better vibration, more clarity and energy than v2.69 s5
only soundstage and sound texture difficult to compare, v2.69 s5 already good, hard to keep its good things.
try to test and enjoy!
piano
2.70 s1 better
-strong notes are still stronger than norm. a little bright. try less volume or less weight. already much much better.
-all other notes feel correct.
rock
2.70 s2 better
-more power more real
2.70 s1
-zero intense. vocal is rich with strong vibration.
[EDIT:]
--vocal sounds better and better
2.70 s2
-in general, treble feels small intense like 2.69 s5.
-think need to find a correct weight that works for both drum and piano.
when drum is most real, true and powerful, then piano notes are too strong. e.g. 2.70 s2
when piano notes are better, then drums get a little weak. e.g. 2.70 s1
-2.70 s1 has less clarity in fast drum
-2.69 s5 still has best height/width/depth. actually 2.70 s2 is almost as good. for size, 2.70 s2 feels more correct. but 2.69.5 has better height.
-2.4.3 still has magical energy. just don't know why it feels so good!
