Ah, I see - each of those sections are the same - each is one of his SuperTeddyreg yokes

Exactly. He's using a PCB he already has made that can be further populated to give other rail voltages I'd say.

I have a few of the older teddy reg boards if you're interested John. They have a slow ramp up to set voltage, but that can be modified easy to give instant correct voltage. Has the super teddy reg got a lower output impedance? That was one of the things oft quoted about the original teddy reg.

You are welcome to drop over anytime Tony, would be interested to do a quick comparison, I do not think it would take long to hear the difference if any.

So what do ye think this board actually does with the supply from the brick on the teddy pardo to clean up the current.
interesting stuff

No rush Tony, gives me more time to get it well burned in before you hear it.
The green stuff is good to see in the Maplin, it is some form of screw locking compound to prevent connections coming loose.

Gave up on the plex case. I had expected deliveries to start early next week but the site now shows ETA of June 18th for hamburg depot.
At that rate I was going to be lucky to get the case by the end of june. Bit disappointed as I wanted to go the plex H5.s route.
Ordered the streacom fc5 ws evo (last one on komplett) and the 160w pico from ebay. Should have all parts next week so can start getting the hammer and chisel out
Plex must lose a lot of case orders as the stock has been out for nearly a month already.

Will run this with the maplin supply I got and as John sensibly advised take the other potential upgrades one step at a time.
